Name Critic rates Solaicx

Our Rating

I still can’t pronounce it – even though I have been thinking about this name for a week or more. And now I discover it is hard to type as well… my fingers just don’t want to purposefully use letter combinations that are not natural to the English language.

Solar and Voltaic. OK we get that part. But pity the poor salespeople who have to use this name each day on the phone.

At least it keeps the lawyers happy. And is properly registered as a trademark which would usually justify us scoring it a 2 on technical merit. But that would involve someone also telling their webmaster to use a ® and the word trademark at least once.

On the other hand, while graphics can seldom fix a bad name, it can help. Kudos also for not being the average boring hitech logo. Why not shout out the name elegantly? Congratulations.
