Background:One of the few names we have that rates a perfect ten. We almost gave the logo a ten too, but then decided it might be looking a little aged, especially now that they have the Mindstorms® line.

The original inventor of these clever little plastic blocks that have consumed children and parents for many hours for many years, named his invention after the Danish words Leg and Godt, meaning “play well”. Accidentally, or otherwise, he came up with a great short word that works in many other languages. In particular, it is very close to the English “Let’s Go” or “Let Go”. Perhaps a Freudian slip. Perhaps a lucky accident.

A name with all the elements we all dream of for our names!

You already know where to find them at a local shopping center. See the full range of Lego products at www.lego.com.
